Abide by all Kids Quest policies, including those within Teammate Manual. Follow all state licensing requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-traffic facility. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert to the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group. Interact and play with children. Be familiar with the equipment and activities in each Kids Quest interest area. Assist the Supervisor, Director, and/or Assistant Director in any way possible, which may include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following ways: _ Work with staff to complete events and challenges. _ Support the implementation of center programming. _ Stage the center for day-to-day operations, special programs, and events. _ Provide and prepare snacks and meals for the children following universal precautions and infection control guidelines and procedures. _ Keep center interest, storage, and bathroom areas clean, neat, and orderly. _ Report maintenance needs to supervisor(s). _ Complete daily cleaning tasks. _ Complete daily operations logs (Quest, ratio, restroom, etc.). _ Complete opening and closing operations. _ Follow Kids Quest cash handling procedures. _ Be familiar with all Kids Quest promotions and events. _ Promote all Kids Quest sales services. Provide excellent guest service. Be familiar with and follow all of the companys child care center policies and procedures, and any state or local requirements. Report to Supervisor, Assistant Director, and/or Director any special needs or problems of individual children. Attend and participate in all scheduled and/or mandatory staff meetings. Properly fill out incident reports and follow up as necessary."
