Pre-64 Model 70 project.
I have a Pre-64 barreled action with trigger and bottom metal in .270 winchester in good working condition. (blueing is worn, bore is good)
I purchased a well figured english walnut blank and had Robert Szweda (www.customstockmaker.com) machine and inlet the blank for the aforementioned barreled action in his classic sporter pattern. (95% inlet) Who knows when I'll ever get around to finishing it. My loss is your gain!
