This rifle is a real tack driver, I have shot MOA with my handloads out to 400m and shooting 77 gr. it will most likely hold 1 MOA out to 700m+ if you do your part. Even with lake city SS109 62 gr. I have held 4-5 inch groups at 250m. The .223 Wylde hybrid chamber was designed by Bill Wylde to exploit the accuracy advantages of the .223 Remington chambering without pressure problems or compromising the functional reliability of (semi) automatic weapons like the AR-15 family when using 5.56×45mm NATO military ammunition. Coincidentally, it shoots the relatively long and heavy 77gr. and 80gr. bullets commonly used in the sport of Highpower Rifle Competition very well (but will also shoot anything 55gr. or over quite well) and is the preferred chamber for competition use.
