Recording Service Rates
Our rates are very competitive, and are also negotiable on larger demo and full album audio recording projects! For audio projects large and small, we can definitely make you a deal you?ll be pleased with. See below for more details.
Hourly Audio Services: Our hourly rate for general sound recording and engineering of bands and projects of any type is $25. This includes set up, a professional audio engineer to make sure your sounds are just how you want them, and are captured in high quality digital audio of 32 bits, and up to 96kHz.
Day Block Rates for Audio Services: For sound recording and engineering, we also offer 8 hour day blocks for only $185. This provides you all of the services of the hourly rate, but in a larger time block that saves you money!
Demo Packages for Audio Recording: For beginning artists, we offer 4 song demo projects that include everything you need, all the way to final product, including set up and engineering, plus mixing and mastering of your project for one low price of only $740.
Full Album Audio Projects: Full album projects are fully negotiable, and really need to be discussed with our staff, in order to gauge the scope of the project, mutual expectations, and finished product. For full album projects, please contact our offices.
Mixing: Once your project has been captured in high resolution digital audio, it?s time to mix and then master the project. Our mixing services are offered at the same low price of only $25 per hour.
Mastering: While a nice mix can sound great, and radio ready, many artists would like to have their albums mastered to get that final touch; to provide more sheen, loudness, and fine spectral tuning. Schnebly Hill Recorders is NOT a mastering studio, and we don?t pretend to be. Mastering services are very specialized, and take very expensive and precise listening devices. We are not outfitted in this way, but we CAN refer clients to other great companies that provide these services.
