This position start date is August xxxx, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The department is particularly interested in interviewing candidates with proficiency in computer-aided design, aerospace propulsion, material science, advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and machine design; however, candidates with expertise in other areas will be considered as well. A successful candidate shall have a strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses, teaching and monitoring undergraduate laboratory courses, and performing applied research. The ideal candidate shall be willing to collaborate with students on independent research and student organization projects. An earned doctorate in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering along with related experience is highly desired; however, candidates with a Master's Degree and significant industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
